Chamber Music Workshop (Spring 2024)

April 13 and 14

Delgani’s workshops are designed for instrumentalists (strings, woodwinds, piano) who would like to improve their chamber music skills while exploring new repertoire. Individuals and pre-formed groups are invited to apply.

This workshop is for all abilities – Students, professionals, and amateurs.

Individuals will be placed into ensembles with fellow participants. Groups will have rehearsals, receive coachings, explore repertoire in reading sessions, attend seminars, and have the opportunity to perform. There will also be plenty of opportunities to read music with others and work with members of the Delgani String Quartet.

WHO: All levels of violinists, violists, cellists, and woodwinds, as well as advanced pianists

WHEN: Saturday April 13 (10 am to 4 pm) and Sunday April 14 (12 pm to 6 pm)

WHERE: United Lutheran Church, 2230 Washington St, Eugene OR 97405

PRACTICAL DETAILS:

• There will be a lunch break on Saturday. Please plan to pack a lunch or get something close by.

• An optional performance will be scheduled for Sunday evening.

• For those traveling to Eugene from out of the area, we may be able to help you find a place to stay on Friday and/or Saturday night. Email us directly if you would like to discuss options.

• Registration deadline is March 11.

Participants will need to include a link to a recent video during registration. Please record yourself playing something and upload it to YouTube, Facebook, or Vimeo. You will be asked for the link when you register. This is used only for group placement.
