Delgani String Quartet opens its 12th season with a celebration of American voices in music, spanning culture, time, and place. The first half features the evocative and otherworldly “Journey of the Horizontal People” by Diné composer Raven Chacon, alongside music by Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson and Philip Glass. The program concludes with Amy Beach’s Piano Quintet, a masterpiece of American Romanticism, featuring pianist Maria Garcia.
